-9- <br /> The Village Manager was directed to present a recommendation of standby <br /> water charges for the bowling alley sprinkler system at the July 11th meeting. <br /> The report of the Public examiners office on Municipal liquor stores and <br /> of net profit was received. <br /> Reports on recovery of damages to Village streets, notice regarding filing <br /> of brief in Lowry Grove Trailer Park v. Village of St. Anthony and Diamond 8 <br /> property division were received from the Village Attorney. The Council indic- <br /> ated that it is their desire that a bond be filed to insure payment of <br /> assessments against the Diamond 8 property and the matter was tabled for <br /> review with the Village attorney on July 11th. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to give individuals with trees or shrubbery <br /> deemed to be hazardous to vehicular traffic a 10 day notice by mail to prune <br /> trees or shrubs a reasonable height or remove. The Public Works dept. to <br /> take pictures before any pruning is done by that dept. <br /> DeWayne Olson, Village Engineer, was directed to inspect the wading pool as <br /> to existing crack and report to the Village Council at the July 11th meeting. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Springer, and seconded by Councilman Dougherty it <br /> was moved that the request of Twin City Lines for extension of bus service <br /> on Highway #8 to County Road C be approved as requested. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Request of Richard Fudali for appearance ppearance on the August 22nd agenda to <br /> discuss the Diamond 8 Apartment sign was approved. <br /> Councilman Springer reported on meeting with school board on June 21st. <br /> He reported that the school plans an expansion of its intramural program and <br /> would like the Village to consider the construction of one tennis court to <br /> match the schools building program for 1968. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Springer it was <br /> moved that the engineers certificate in the amount of $336.17 be approved. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was <br /> moved that the engineers certificate in the amount of $270.09 be approved. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
