-4- <br /> After discussion, Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Springer <br /> that the Village Attorney be directed to prepare an amendment to the electric <br /> code adopting the 1968 Minneapolis electrical code. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The matter of dog control was discussed at length. Councilman Springer moved <br /> and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that a four months trial period of ten days <br /> patrolling per month in addition to the on call service be authorized. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the Village . <br /> Attorney be directed to amend the Animal Control Ordinance to adjust impound- <br /> ing fees from 53.00 to $5.50 and to require rabies shots as a requirement <br /> for dog licensing. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> request of N.W. Bell Company for an extension of underground cable on the <br /> North side of 37th Ave. N.E. from Silver Lake Road to Macalaster Drive be <br /> approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Springer that the <br /> Village engineer be authorized to make preliminary studies as to the supplying <br /> of sewer and water facilities to the Salvation Army property the installation <br /> of internal storm sewer system to serve the lands in storm sewer district #4, <br /> and also the unimproved streets in Ramsey County relative to the construction <br /> of curb and gutter and asphalt surfacing. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that the Village <br /> Manager be authorized to take bids for the repair and improvement of Well #5. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Springer and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> Village Manager be authorized to take bids for the supplying of one Hi- <br /> Service pump for the water treatment plant and injector pump for Well #5. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that the adjusted <br /> engineers certificate in the amount of $62. 10 for the drafting of graph <br /> exhibits for the 1968 budget, be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that the licenses <br /> be approved as submitted. <br /> HEATING: Ryan Air Conditioning <br /> Northeast Numbing <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
