-4- <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Emond, Crouse <br /> May: Dougherty <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After discussion, motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse <br /> that Springsted and Associates be named as fiscal agent for the 1968 Improve- <br /> ment Bond Issue. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mr. Gordon Hedlund 's request for a public hearing on the matter of rezoning <br /> of his property East of Silver Lake Road and North of 39th Avenue N.E. was <br /> denied. Mr. Hedlund asked if the Council would consider an alley way through <br /> the area. He was told to petition for the improvement. Density proposals <br /> were discussed at length. <br /> The Village Attorney was directed to prepare an emergency burning provision <br /> for inclusion into the Burning Ordinance. <br /> Motion by Mayor O 'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that the request of <br /> N.W. Bell Company to install buried cable at Stinson Boulevard north of <br /> 39th Avenue N.E., and at 37th Avenue N.E. and Highcrest Road be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the request <br /> of the Lowry Grove Trailer Camp to install a top barb wire strand on the <br /> north boundary fence be denied. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the licenses <br /> as submitted be approved. <br /> VENDING MACHINE-Gold Eagle Corporation (20G Wash) <br /> CIGARETTE-Joe's Sinclair <br /> GARBAGE SERVICE-Ualter's Disposal <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the request <br /> to conduct a wedding dance at Apache Plaza by Sam Villella be approved if <br /> proper police supervision is provided for. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the properly <br /> verified claims be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
