VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> iCOUNCIL MINUTES <br /> May 26, 1969 <br /> The special meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 7:15 P. M. <br /> Present: O'Connor, Crouse, Emond, Levandowski, Dougherty. <br /> Also present: John Printon, Village Manager <br /> The Mayor explained that the reason for calling the special meeting was to discuss <br /> a proposed informational sign to be located at the High School. <br /> Members of the School Board and Superintendent Brown discussed with the Village <br /> Council, the need for the sign and the use it would be put to notify residents of <br /> events held at the hfgh school. Mr. Brown explained that the sign would have a <br /> brick base and was 4' x 81 in size and would be placed perpendicular to the building <br /> with the lighted face to be viewed from an easterly or westerly direction. Board <br /> Chairman Dr. Kirk explained to the Council that the sign was purchased in 1968 and <br /> the Board was not aware of any zoning conflict, <br /> Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that a variance be granted <br /> District 282 for the erection of a 4' x 8' informational sign at the high school <br /> site, with the restriction that no further signing be granted for other school <br /> locations. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Crouse, Emond, Levandowski. <br /> Nay: Dougherty. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by ,Councilman Emond that the meeting be <br /> adjourned. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Villag C erk <br /> V' age Manager <br />
