VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> May 27, 1969 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P. M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : O'Connor, Emond, Levandowski, Dougherty. <br /> Absent: Crouse. <br /> Also Present : Raymond Haik, Village Attorney <br /> John Printon, Village Manager <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the minutes <br /> of the regular meeting of May 13, 1969 be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Emond that the minutes of <br /> the special meeting of May 19, 1969 be approved as submitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. William Peet, insurance consultant read his insurance report to the Village <br /> Council, a copy of said report follows: <br /> May 23, 1969 <br /> Village of St. Anthony <br /> 2900 Kenzie Terrace <br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota 55418 <br /> Attention: Village Council and Manager <br /> Re: Award of Property and Liability Insurance Renewals <br /> You are advised to make captioned award alternatively as follows : <br /> Alternative I: entire account to the Home Insurance Company* <br /> through the Kerney Company, Inc. of S t. Paul. <br /> Approximate annual cost: $30,011 <br /> Alternative II: as above except for workmen's compensation <br /> on which you would choose either <br /> Sentry Insurance at a net premium saving of about 322 <br /> AID Insurance Sorvices where you could save up to over <br /> $4,200 for less than 6% losses, or lose up to $674 if <br /> losses exceed 56% of premiums. On basis of past <br /> • performance which has been better than average, AID's <br /> and Sentry's net cost would be about equal. <br /> The alternatives are in order of our preference for the following reasons: <br />
