VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> May 12, 1970 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, <br /> Kukielka. <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also Present: Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey <br /> Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> The following corrections on the minutes of the April 28, 1970 meeting were notedt <br /> On page 1 before the motions for Ordinances 1970-3 and 1970-4, the minutes should <br /> show that a hearing was held on these ordinances. <br /> On page 2 at the bottom after the motion allowing homeowners to look over the <br /> Protective Covenant, etc., it should show that the hearing be continued in one <br /> month. <br /> At the bottom of page 3 the motion directing the Village Attorney to draw up a <br /> • snowmobile ordinance for presentation, should be "using the village" rather than <br /> "state" ordinance. <br /> On page 4 the motion by Councilman Kukielka regarding the closing of the exten- <br /> sion of Silver Lake Road, should read "indefinitely" instead of "completely". <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the <br /> minutes of the April 28, 1970 meeting as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Harvey Coleman spoke briefly again on the proposed changes in developing the <br /> Gaza Strip and also submitted an altered Protective Covenant for consideration. <br /> Mr. Bob Johnson, representing the homeowners along the lake, said that they like <br /> the idea of the burming, trees, etc.; but that they want the maximum protection <br /> they can get. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to refer the <br /> proposed covenant to the Village Attorney to take it up with the homeowners and <br /> also it is the intent of the Council that they work out this Protective Covenant <br /> and bring it back for presentation at the next Council meeting. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village Engineer presented to the Council a report on Highway #8 Storm Sewer. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond instructing the <br /> Village Manager and the Village Engineer to contact the Highway Department re- <br /> garding the feasibility of the Village constructing the extension of the Highway <br /> #8 Storm Sewer, but with no commitment. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
