Motion carried. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve payment <br /> of $8,234.00 to Comstock & Davis for engineering work on the Storm Sewer <br /> Project 1972-1. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to approve payment <br /> of $1,300.00 to Electric Service Company for the light poles to be installed <br /> at the tennis courts. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve payment <br /> of $6,314.37 to Bituminious Roadways as final payment of work on the walkways. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve payment <br /> of all verified claims as listed in the June 25th agenda. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Stan Zegan, 2906 Crestview Drive, identified himself as in the real estate <br /> business and expressed his concern as to the effect rumors of large assess- <br /> ments amounting to $3,000 or $4,000 per home in the City of St. Anthony, which <br /> would result from the "paving of all the streets in the village" were having <br /> on the sale of homes in St. Anthony. <br /> Council members summarized action taken to date on the Street Improvement <br /> Project and he was advised that if he had received no notice of the public <br /> hearing on the proposal for 29th Avenue he would probably not be affected by <br /> any assessments for the project unless the decision was made to spread the <br /> assessments community wide. <br /> No action was taken on the circular from the AAU Swim Club requesting <br /> sponsorship of swim meets. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Haik to adjourn at 9:15 P.M. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ATTEST:Oa,QLI1 <br /> pyt�r! <br /> Clerk <br /> y Ma T <br /> r <br />
