F) <br /> to 37th Avenue N.E. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Comstock will provide a cost analysis for comparison of costs of concrete or <br /> a blacktop installation so that the Council will have this information for a public <br /> hearing if that portion of the walkway from 37th to Silver Lane is to be assessed <br /> to the owners. It was decided to postpone consideration of a walkway for the <br /> east side of Silver Lake Road until there are more firm plans for the development <br /> of the property on that side of the roadway. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sundland to direct the <br /> City Engineer to expeditiously prepare a corlp2ehensive plan based on current <br /> criteria for presentation to the Metro Sewer Board. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Haik to grant the Metro Transit <br /> Commission permission to extend Bus Rte 11 using St. Anthony Blvd. and Hwy 8 <br /> to reach County Road C. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Sundland to invite Ms. Barb <br /> Davidson and her attorney, only, to meet with the Council at 9 P.M. during the <br /> special meeting April 29th thereby providing Ms. Davidson a hearing on her dis- <br /> missal from City employment. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> During the discussion of whether the City desires to continue to be represented <br /> by the League of Minnesota Municipalities in the joint negotiations with the <br /> I.U.O.F. of Local 49, the Mayor expressed the opinion that, in view of present <br /> economic conditions, the line be held on salaries granted for 1976. The Manager <br /> said that, since the .maintenance union had been operating under a two year contract <br /> their demands would probably bring them up to the standards of the salaries paid <br /> to the other municipal employees. <br /> Motion by Cbunc.ilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sundland to adopt <br /> Resolution 75-025 . <br /> RESOLUTION 75-025 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTINUED JOINT RFPRFSFNTATION <br /> IN REGARD TO I.U.O.F., LOCAL N0. 49 <br /> Motion carried. <br />
