-6- <br /> Motion <br /> 6--Motion by Mayor Miedtke,' seconded by Councilman Stauffer to adopt Resolution <br /> it� <br /> • ��=�75-027. <br /> RFSoLuTlorr 75-027 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING NII 4BFRSHIP IN <br /> A SUBURBAN HENNFPIN COUNTY 14LPIVICIPAL <br /> ORGANIZATION <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The manager reported a last minute contact by Tom Sholler of St. Anthony High <br /> School student body regarding a rock festival to be held in Central Park this <br /> summer but no action was taken. <br /> The Manager was directed to indicate to Hennepin County that the City of St.Anthony <br /> would not object to funding approximately $25,000 of the cost of upgrading 29th <br /> Avenue N.F. near the St. Anthony Office Park. <br /> Councilman Haik gave a report on plans of the Bicentennial Committee including the <br /> community dance to be held at the Apache Plaza Shopping Center on February 28th <br /> and the calendar of events to be sent to City residents in September 1975 and <br /> another with the history of the community to be prepared for distribution in 1976, <br /> both to be the result of the League of Women Voters efforts. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to authorize an expenditure <br /> of $3,050 to be applied to the operatixig budget of the Bicentennial Celebration <br /> Committee for projects listed in the committee report with the funds to be trans-- <br /> ferred from the Contingency Fund. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Council took no action regarding proposed family seminars which Councilman <br /> Haik discussed. <br /> Councilman Stauffer asked about the parking on County Road C in front of Aror- <br /> Industries and the Manager was directed to investigate. <br /> Special meetings were scheduled for April 29th and May 6 to consider changes <br /> in the zoning ordinance. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to adjourn the <br /> meeting at 12:00 A.M. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> J) ld.rt � /�• r <br /> 1� Mayor <br /> ATTEST: ) ' �� <br /> Clerk <br /> 4C/�41anaf e �� <br />
