-2- <br /> Mr. Gordon Boldt felt St. Anthony Hennepin County valuations were too high <br /> and wanted to see the assessment disparities between neighboring assessment <br /> districts eliminated. He said his valuation had gone up too much in one <br /> • year and reserved his right of a re-evaluation. <br /> Mr. Robert Bergstrom inquired what the assessed valuation of the city is and <br /> what percentage increase was applied to each parcel. <br /> Mr. Tom Emond asked if a flat percentage was applied to all properties. He <br /> said his property went up 22% which he felt was too much. He requested a <br /> reappraisal. <br /> He was told that a percentage increase was applied within each plat but <br /> that each parcel within the plat was reviewed individually and some upward <br /> or downward adjustments were made to the percentage. <br /> Mr. John Kelly of Towle Real Estate said that the company's four parcels in <br /> St. Anthony increased 22% in valuation and that considering business conditions, <br /> such an increase was too high. He requested a reappraisal of all four prop <br /> erties. <br /> Mr. Ray Ekland said his valuation increased 16%, which he felt was too much, <br /> and reserved his right to a reappraisal if his questions are not satisfactorily <br /> answered by the City Assessor. <br /> Mr. Robert Victorine felt his valuation was too high in comparison with other <br /> homes in the area with more living space. <br /> Hearing no other requests to discuss property valuations, Councilman Sauer <br /> • moved to adjourn which was seconded by Councilman Stauffer. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.M. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: &t4e' e ( <br /> Clerk / <br /> A-nC �LZA-� <br /> City Zr ger <br />
