• Councilman Sauer reported the various dispositions of the Silver Oak <br /> building considered by the Community Services Committee. Included are <br /> selling or leasing the building or tearing it down and selling the land <br /> for residential development as well as its use for a community art and <br /> culture center. The latter will be the subject of a meeting in the school <br /> at 9 : 30 a.m. February 24th to which Council members were invited. <br /> Councilman Ranallo reported subjects he saw as of interest to the Council <br /> which had been discussed during the League of Minnesota Cities seminar for <br /> elected officials which he had attended. One of these was the investiga- <br /> tion of alternatives municipalities have for staying within the 6% wage <br /> guidelines established by President Carter. <br /> Mayor Haik reported attending the computer seminar sponsored by IBM. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to adjourn <br /> the meeting at 9 :50 p.m. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> • <br /> (7) <br />
