.r 1 CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 2 3 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 5 April 24, 2001 6 7 I. CALL TO ORDER. 8 Mayor Cavanaugh called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. 9 10 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 11 Mayor Cavanaugh invited the Council and audience to join in the Pledge of Allegiance. 12 13 III. ROLL CALL. 14 Councilmembers present: Mayor Cavanaugh; Councilmembers Sparks, Thuesen, and 15 Hodson. 16 Councilmembers absent: Councilmember Horst. 17 Also present: City Manager Michael Mornson; City Attorney Jerry Gilligan. 18 19 IV. APPROVAL OF APRIL 24, 2001 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING AGENDA. 20 Motion by Mayor Cavanaugh to approve the April 24, 2001 City Council Regular Meeting 21 Agenda. 22 23 City Manager Michael Mornson made an addition to the agenda, introducing Resolution 01-058, 24 re: Approve a drainage and ponding easement relating to the Harding Street Ponding Project. 6 Motion carried unanimously. 27 28 V. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 29 None. 30 31 VI. COMMUNITY FORUM. 32 Mayor Cavanaugh invited any residents in the audience to speak to the Council on items that are 33 not on the regular agenda. 34 35 Steven Fuller, of 2701 29`h Avenue, stepped forward and asked the Council when the driveway 36 project would begin on his street, and when his sidewalks would be filled. He was concerned 37 about the traffic speed and asked what the city would do to keep the speed down. He also 38 mentioned problems with the angle of his driveway, the retaining walls and his buckling 39 sidewalk. Mayor Cavanaugh suggested that he meet with Public Works Director Jay Hartman to 40 determine when the engineers could meet him on his property to review the problems. 41 42 VII.
