REPORTS FROM CITY MANAGER AND COUNCILMEMBERS. <br /> 2 Mornson indicated that he and Mayor Hodson met with the Hennepin and Ramsey County <br /> 3 Commissioners, Metropolitan Council staff and part of the Three-Rivers Park District to lay the <br /> 4 groundwork for the upcoming lobbying day on June 25, 2002. He stated that they will comprise <br /> 5 an agenda for the day, including a bus tour of the site. <br /> 6 <br /> 7 Mornson stated that the Planning Commission meeting was cancelled this week, and asked if it <br /> 8 was the opinion of the Council to revise the ordinance that was on their agenda, providing a <br /> 9 better definition of gross floor area. The Council stated that they would like a better definition. <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Councilmember Horst indicated that there was a suggestion at the last "Coffee with the Mayor" <br /> 12 that a sign/map of the plan for the Central Park project be placed in the Community Center as <br /> 13 well as at the park site. <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Mornson stated that he would look into the best location for the map. <br /> 16 <br /> 17 Councilmember Horst commended Councilmembers Faust and Sparks with their efforts on the <br /> 18 Flood Mitigation Grant. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 Councilmember Sparks stated that the City of St. Anthony will be receiving more money in 2002 <br /> 21 from the MWO than they are putting in for a few years. She added that they are very receptive <br /> 16 to another request for next year's budget. <br /> 24 Councilmember Thuesen stated that he hoped that the residents of the community have taken the <br /> 25 opportunity to see the new library. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 Councilmember Faust stated that he hoped that it was the last time that they had to vote to take a <br /> 28 home. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Councilmember Faust stated that he has appreciated Councilmember Sparks' efforts, as well as <br /> 31 those efforts of Todd Hubmer and Mike Mornson, as they have all been very instrumental in <br /> 32 guiding the Council through the confusing legislative session. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 Mayor Hodson highlighted another issue that came out of the "Coffee with the Mayor"which <br /> 35 was 37`h Avenue. He indicated that he would discuss the area with Jay Hartman. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 IX. INFORMATION AND ANNOUNCEMENTS. <br /> 38 None. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 X.
