CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 94-021 <br /> A RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE APPLICATION FOR A <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) BY <br /> NORTHWEST YOUTH & FAMILY SERVICES (NYFS) <br /> WHEREAS, NYFS has provided essential developmental services for the youth and families of <br /> the City of St. Anthony since 1976; and <br /> WHEREAS, NYFS is finding more and more people in need of financial assistance in order to <br /> make use of NYFS' mental health programs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the unique partnership between NYFS and its ten Ramsey County member cities <br /> has resulted in the ability to provide an essential community services that none of <br /> the cities could provide individually; and <br /> WHEREAS, NYFS is in need of assistance in purchasing a building in which to house these <br /> essential community services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony, that <br /> the City of St. Anthony enthusiastically supports the award of a 1994 CDBG to NYFS. <br /> Adopted this a a day of Y u� , 1994. <br /> ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
