• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 94-023 <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING STATE LEGISLATION <br /> TO RECOVER COSTS IN PROSECUTING OFFENDERS <br /> WHEREAS, budgets in municipalities are being cut regularly; and <br /> WHEREAS, more burdens are being placed on taxpayers; and <br /> WHEREAS, offenders that are found guilty after being brought to Court are causing undue <br /> hardships on City funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is neither fair nor just that taxpayers should be held responsible for these costs. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Minnesota State Legislators be requested to <br /> propose and pass legislation authorizing that legal and other costs of prosecution be placed on <br /> persons found guilty by the Court. <br /> • Adopted this day of , 1994. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: L4� <br /> QA��-Z� <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: vz�Z � <br /> Interim Ci Manager <br />
