Haulers that pick-up <br /> weekly must submit monthly invoices and weigh tickets. <br /> 5. IF THESE ACTIVITIES WILL BE ONGOING AFTER THIS GRANT PERIOD, <br /> HOW WILL THEY BE FUNDED? <br /> Any ongoing activities will be funded by the General Fund reserves and any applicable <br /> portion of the Hennepin County grant funds. <br /> 6. The following <br /> figures are projections based on costs incurred in 1997 and as documented in the 1997 <br /> Municipal Recycling Program Semiannual Report to Ramsey County, August 15, 1997. <br /> • ADMINISTRATION: $ 1,551.00 <br /> PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES (PLEASE DETAIL): $ 890.00 <br /> Special edition waste reduction newsletter. <br /> Clean-Up Day flyers. <br /> On-going articles on recycling, composting, etc. <br /> EQUIPMENT (PLEASE DETAIL): $ 744.00 <br /> Residential Recycling Bins. <br /> COLLECTION OF RECYCLABLES (PLEASE DETAIL): $ 2,086.00 <br /> Magazine/Catalog collection <br /> Plastic collection <br /> Spring and Fall tree and brush collections <br /> TOTAL $ 5,271.00 <br /> 7. PLEASE DESCRIBE YOUR MUNICIPAL IN-HOUSE RECYCLING <br /> PROGRAM: <br /> The City reuses paper, cardboard and other items, as is practicable. The City has mixed <br /> • paper and office paper recycling, along with the other basic items that we require our <br /> residents to recycle. The City returns laser printer cartridges to the manufacturer for reuse. <br /> The City also purchases paper products through a Hennepin County contract that has <br /> recycled materials content whenever possible. The City has a source reduction plan and <br /> encourages its implementation whenever possible. <br />
