ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 98-029 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING A BID FOR CONCRETE PAVEMENT <br /> REHABILITATION AND SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION FOR <br /> 33'D AVENUE NE <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement as shown on the plan for <br /> the above referenced project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according <br /> to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br /> Bidder Total Bid <br /> Progressive Contractors, Inc. $322,332.90 <br /> Knish Construction Co., Inc. $349,926.75 <br /> Shafer Contracting Co., Inc. $406,957.50 <br /> Tenson Construction Inc. $421,916.50 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Progressive Contractors, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of St. Anthony: <br /> 1. That the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br /> contract with Progressive Contractors, Inc. in the amount of$322,332.90 in the name of <br /> the City of St. Anthony, Minnesota for the improvement outlined in the above referenced <br /> project according to the plans and specifications, therefore, approved by the City Council <br /> and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br /> 2.
