CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 98-071 <br /> A RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR REDEVELOPMENT/ <br /> IMPROVEMENTS FOR SILVER POINT AND CENTRAL PARKS <br /> IN CONJUNCTION WITH PROPOSED FLOOD MITIGATION PROJECTS <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the proposed flood mitigation projects, engineers identified <br /> improvements to be made to Central and Silver Point Parks; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposal for Silver Point Park involves excavating a portion of it to serve as <br /> a temporary holding pond during heavy rains; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposal for Central Park consists of constructing a holding pond directly <br /> behind the football field; and <br /> WHEREAS, construction bids for these projects have been received and reviewed. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby awards the bid for the redevelopment/improvements for Silver Point Park and Central <br /> Park within the City of St. Anthony to Richard Knutson, Inc., in the amount of$1,231,266.95, <br /> which said bid is deemed to be in the best interests of the City. <br /> Adopted this 13'4 day of 1998. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed by Administration: <br /> • City M ger <br />
