M <br /> • CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION #98-082 <br /> A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY 1999 TAX LEVY <br /> AND BUDGET IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE TRUTH IN TAXATION ACT <br /> WHEREAS, the Truth in Taxation Law requires the City of St. Anthony provide <br /> Hennepin and Ramsey Counties with a certified 1999 tax levy and budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's proposed 1999 budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a Public Hearing on December 7, 1998, 7:00 P.M. in <br /> its Council Chambers to discuss the tax levy with the residents of St. Anthony; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a subsequent meeting on December 16, 1998, 7:00 P.M. <br /> • in its Council Chambers to adopt the final 1998 property tax levy and budget; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the information required for the City to calculate a definitive tax levy has been <br /> collected. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: <br /> 1) The 1999 property tax levy is: <br /> Property Tax Levy $1,950,355 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 334,208) <br /> Total General Fund Levy $1,616,147 <br /> Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 20,000 <br /> Less: H.A.C.A. ( 4,465) <br /> Total Housing and Redevelopment Authority Levy $ 15,535 <br /> Special Assessment/Road Improvements 237,206 <br /> • Total 1999 Tax Levy $1,868,888 <br /> 2) The 1999 Total Operating Budget totals $6,173,725 <br />
