• CITY OF ST ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION #99-022 <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING FUNDING FOR YEAR 2000 (Y2K) <br /> EXPENDITURES AND UPGRADES <br /> WHEREAS, the safety and welfare of the residents are critical components in providing <br /> services to the community; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Year 2000 (Y2K) computer date concerns could effect or interrupt services to <br /> the residents of the City of St. Anthony; and <br /> WHEREAS, pertaining to Y2K, an inventory of equipment and vehicles was reviewed by the <br /> City Council at its February work session for Year 2000 compliance. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following expenditures and funding be <br /> approved: <br /> • 1) Finance/Main Frame Computer: $ 25,600 <br /> Police/Scanner Door Entry $ 6,500 <br /> Police/Computer Software Upgrades 11,500 <br /> Total Y2K Expenditure/Upgrades $ 43,600 <br /> 2) Reserves totaling $43,600 from the 1998 Operating Budget will be designated to <br /> fund the Y2K expenditures/upgrades. <br /> Adopted this-E4�' day of� 1999 <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br />
