Employees may voluntarily donate personal leave time <br /> in hour increments which can be converted to use by employees <br /> facing serious medical problems or extended time off due to <br /> serious medical problems and who have no accumulated personal <br /> leave time or compensatory time available. The use of this <br /> donated personal leave must be approved by the Department <br /> Head and the City Manager and will be converted to the receiving <br /> employee's paid hourly rate. <br /> 14.9 Probationary Use. During the probationary period described in <br /> Section 8.1 .3 of this Agreement, personal leave may not be used. <br /> 15. HOLIDAYS. <br /> • 15.1 .
