7 <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> January 17, 1967 <br /> 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by acting <br /> Chairman Emond at 7:45 P.M. on Tuesday, January 17, 1967. <br /> 2. The following members were present at roll call : <br /> Robert Mesenbring, Donald Kronk, Duane Miedtke, Dr. Thomas Emond <br /> Curtis Englund joined the meeting at 8:15 P.M. <br /> Absent: Louis Howitz, Fred Katterheinrich <br /> Also Present: Harry Lekson <br /> 3. The Minutes of the regular meeting of December 20, 1966 were approved as sub- <br /> mitted. <br /> 4. Public Hearings <br /> / A. The Acting Chairman Emond announced that this was the time and place to <br /> hold a public hearing on request of the Village Council to consider the request <br /> of Hertog Ftera l for the building of an additional greenhouse on Lot 1, Block 6, <br /> Clark and Kings Hennepin Garden Addition. <br /> Mr. Raymond Sopcinski at 2524 St. Anthony Road voiced his disapproval of a permit <br /> at this time because he would like to see a plot plan showing the exact location <br /> of the building on the lot. He was also concerned with the appearance of an <br /> entrance large enough to allow a truck to enter from Edwards Street. Mr. Hertog <br /> stated that this door was necessary so that dirt could be brought /n when needed, <br /> but also said that this was not very often. Also the question of lights on grow <br /> ing material was asked and John said that at this time no growing would be started <br /> that required the use of lights, but stated that he could not say what would be <br /> done in the future as requirements change. After furthur discussion, a motion was <br /> recommended by Mesenbring seconded by Miedtke that the request be tabled until <br /> the February 21 meeting. <br /> tion Carried. <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations <br /> A. Upon request of Joe Malat, his request for a garage addition was set aside <br /> until later in the spring. <br /> B. F. B. Van Auken request, set ahead to the next replar meeting. <br /> 6. Zoning Variation - None <br /> 7. Old Business - None <br /> 8. Building Permits - None <br />
