PLANNING ROARD MINUTES <br /> March 21, 1967 <br /> 1 . The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Howitz at 7:35 P.M. on Tuesday March 21 , 1967. <br /> 2. The Following members were present at roll call : <br /> Donald Kronk, Duane Miedtke, Louis Howitz, Fred Katterheinrich, Curtis <br /> Englund, Dr. Thomas Emond. <br /> Robert Mesenbring joined the meeting at 7:45 P.M. <br /> also present: Harry Lekson <br /> 3. The minutes of the regular meeting of February 210 1967 were approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> 4. Public Hearings - None <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations <br /> / F. B. Van Auken appeared and discussed with the board the location of a <br /> garage he would like to build on his property. Mr. Van Auken agreed to place <br /> the garage behind his house and in so doing will eliminate the need for a <br /> • variance. <br /> 6. Zoning Variation - None <br /> 7. Old Business - None <br /> 8, Building Permits <br /> Sheldon Mortenson appeared and reviewed his plans for 2 - 18 unit apart- <br /> ment buildings to be located on lots 13 and 14, Block 12, Mounds View Acres, <br /> 2nd addition. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Englund, it was moved to <br /> recommend to the council to approve the request as set forth in the Planning <br /> Board minutes of February 15, 1966. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 9. Miscellaneous <br /> a. Proposed Bureau's Addition tabled until the platting of Apache land is <br /> completed. <br /> b. Plan for vacation of Silver Lake Road from St. Anthony Boulevard to <br /> Highway #8 was presented. No action was taken by the Planning Board. <br /> c. Bill Chapman appeared but did not have available the information he <br /> wanted to present to the Planning Board at this time. He will have this mater« <br /> • ial in a week or so and will bring it into the Village Hall so that the members <br /> of the Planning Board can be given copies of this before the next meeting. <br />
