The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Hcwitz at 7:35 P.M. on Tuesday October 17s 1967. <br /> 2, The Following were present at roll call : <br /> Kronk, Miedtkep Englund, Howitz, Harty and Lyle Elam who was welcomed as the <br /> new member to the Planning Board. <br /> Absent: Mesenbring <br /> Also Present: Harry Lekson <br /> / The minutes of the meeting of September 190 1967 were approved as amended <br /> on Page 1, item 5a, second paragraph to read: After discussion with the neigh- <br /> bors it was disclosed that the Johnson Florist Co. was also in the Greenhouse <br /> Construction Business with a phone listed at the Florist business address. <br /> Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Mesenbring to table the request until the <br /> Board can get an opinion from the Village Attorney on the possibility of a <br /> violation by this listing. <br /> • Motion Carried. <br /> '/_4; Ordinance Variations <br /> Upon motion by Elam, seconded by Harty, to deny the request of Walter Powles at <br /> 2509 Silver Lane for a 2 ft. side yard variance to allow an 8 ft. addition to <br /> his present garage. <br /> tion Carried. <br /> 5. Public Hearings <br /> The tabling action of the September 19, 1967 Planning Board meeting concerning <br /> the Johnson Greenhouse property was considered and the opinion of the Village <br /> Attorney that the phone listing for a Greenhouse Construction Company would not <br /> constitute a violation at the Johnson Greenhouse location. <br /> Upon motion by Englund, seconded by Harty,to recommend to the Council that the <br /> plans for the Johnson Greenhouse be approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. 15 ft. between buildings 10 2 and 3 and rear property line. <br /> 2. 23 ft& setback from front property line on buildings 2 and 3 to line <br /> up with present building. <br /> g. The west elevation on sheet #3 showing the new butler building facade <br /> to include present butler building being made to match the new construct- <br /> ion. <br /> 4. A cyclone fence 6 ft. high to be installed on Edwards St. starting <br /> at 33rd Avenue N.E. and extending north a distance of 75 ft. <br />
