VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD <br /> October 31, 1967 <br /> A special meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman Howitz <br /> at 8:05 P.M. on Tuesday, October 31, 1967. <br /> Present: Elam, :Cronk, Mesenbring, Miedtke, Howitz, Harty, Englund. <br /> Chairman 11owitz opened the meeting to consider the hearing for a zoning change <br /> from Light Industrial to Multiple Dwelling that portion of land lying east of <br /> Old Highway #8 and south of 33rd Avenue N.E . After discussion with Mr. Husnik <br /> and Mr. Rehbein and also Mr. Piecek and Mr. Henz, property owners involved, <br /> this portion of the hearing was closed. Upon motion by Harty, seconded by <br /> Englund, to recommend to the Council that the property north of Medtronic <br /> Inc., to 33rd Avenue N.E. and East of Old Highway #8 be rezoned from Light <br /> Industrial to Multiple Dwelling, because this property is unique in that it <br /> is adjacent to property owned by Vadnais Construction Inc. located in Roseville <br /> which is larger in area than their property located in St. Anthony. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> • Aye : Harty, Englund <br /> Nay: Elam, Kronk, Mesenbring, Miedtke, Howitz <br /> Motion not carried. <br /> Upon motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that <br /> the Light Industrial area South of 33rd Avenue N.E. and East of Old Highway #8 <br /> remain as it is now zoned. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Elam, Kronk, Mesenbring, Miedtke, Howitz <br /> Nay: Harty, Englund <br /> Motion Carried <br /> No action was taken by the Planning Board on the property South of 29th <br /> Avenue N.E. and East of Highway #8. <br /> Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Mesenbring it was moved to adjourn. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Harry Lekson, Secretary <br />
