VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> • February 20, 1968 <br /> 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Howitz at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 20, 1968. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : <br /> Mesenbring, Elam, Miedtke, Harty, Howitz, Englund <br /> Absent: Donald Kronk <br /> 3. It was noted on page two, item 6, that the motion should read, Upon motion <br /> by Mesenbring, seconded by Englund, to recommend to the Council that a public <br /> hearing be held, and that the last line should read, be considered for rezoning.. <br /> The minutes of the meeting of January 16, 1968, were approved as corrected. <br /> The minutes of the special meeting of January 30 and February 5, 19680 were <br /> approved as submitted. <br /> 4. The Chairman announced that this was the time and place to hold a public <br /> hearing on the request of the Village Council to consider a change in zoning <br /> from Light Industrial to Commercial, the East 90.78 ft. of the South 125 ft. <br /> of Lot 50 Block 8, Mounds View Acres, Second Addition. Mr. Dirks, of Berger <br /> • Transfer Company, appeared regarding the use of the property and when informed <br /> that Pilgrim Cleaners and Laundry propose a one story commercial building <br /> for processing and pickup he had no objection. There being no one else want- <br /> ing to be heard the hearing was declared closed. Upon motion by Harty, <br /> seconded by Mesenbring to recommend to the Council that approval be given for <br /> rezoning of this parcel and also approve the building with construction con <br /> tingent upon preliminary drawing as shown. A curbing to be required along <br /> the south property line starting 20 ft. from west property line to 20 feet <br /> from east property line. <br /> Voting on the Motion: <br /> Aye: Mesenbring, Harty, Howitz, Elam, Englund <br /> Nay: Miedtke <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 5. A. No one appeared on Ledwein sign request. <br /> B. Upon motion by Maidtke, seconded by Mesenbring, to reconufrand to the <br /> Council that approval be given to Industrial Credit Company to install a sign <br /> on the wall between Key-Rexall and Captains Cove Cafeteria on the east wall <br /> of Apache Plaza. A letter dated January 23, 1968, from Joseph C. Donlin, Jr. , <br /> General Manager of Apache Plaza Shopping Centor, gives approval for this sign <br /> but also states that no additional signs will be allowed on exterioe wall. <br /> • Motion Carried. <br /> I <br />
