VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br /> Special Meeting <br /> July 30, 1968 <br /> 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by <br /> Chairman Howitz 7:30 P. M. on Tuesday, July 30, 1968. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll calls <br /> Howitz, Kronk, Harty, Miedtke, Mesenbring, Englund <br /> Plans for the proposed Burger Chef restaurant on Silver Lake Road <br /> were reviewed. Upon motion by Kronk, seconded by Miedtke to recommend <br /> to the Council that the Burger Chef plans dated 7-29-68 and signed by <br /> Mr. McGee of Plagens, McGee, Sigvertsen, Inc. be approved provided that: <br /> a. A deceleration lane off Silver Lake Road be provided. <br /> b. The back of the building be faced with brick or porcelain panels. <br /> c. Total sign area, including the pylon sign , is not to exceed <br /> 108 Sq. Ft. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Howitz, Mesenbring, Kronk, Miedtke. <br /> May: Englund, Harty. <br /> 4. Signs and plans for the Hobo Kitchen on Kenzie Terrace were reviewed. <br /> A detailed plan drawing was not available. Upon motion by Miedtke, <br /> seconded by Englund, that Harty and Mesenbring meet with the owner of the <br /> Hobo Kitchen at 7:30 P. M. on August 6, 1968 and that any recommendations <br /> they make to the Council would be agreeable to the Planning Board. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 5. Plans were reviewed of Volp Construction Company for the proposed <br /> building for Data Systems in St. Anthony Office Park. Upon Motion by <br /> Englund, seconded by Harty, to recommend to the Council that preliminary <br /> approval be granted provided that: <br /> a. All provisions of Ordinance 66G (Landscaping) be met. <br /> b. Parking spaces be 210 Sq. Ft. minimun per space. <br /> c. The appearance of the south exterior wall be improved. <br /> d. The material described as '',Med. 0en. Plywood 'be of a material <br /> . that can be considered as being permanent. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Miedtke abstained. L. R.
