Bochnak appeared to request rezoning of Lots 1 , 2 and 3, Block 4, <br /> Mounds View Acres, Second Addition. Upon motion by Mesenbring, seconded by <br /> Miedtke to recommend to the Council that the request be denied because of spot <br /> zoning. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Old Business - None. <br /> 8. Building Permits. <br /> Mr. VanAuken appeared for approval to build a 2 car attached garage at <br /> 2804-30th Avenue N. E. No Planning Board approval needed was indicated by the <br /> Board. <br /> 4: Miscellaneous. <br /> a. The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on possible zoning <br /> changes of the area East of Kenzie Terrace, North of Lowry Avenue, and West of <br /> Wilson Street at the November 19, 1968 meeting. The board requests that notices <br /> be sent to the residents on Lowry Avenue on the Minneapolis side. <br /> b. Gordon Hedlund appeared and discussed with the board low cost housing <br /> or the 36 unit town house complex which he would prefer to build. Upon motion <br /> by Miedtke, seconded by Englund, to recommend to the Council that the request <br /> for the town house complex be denied. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> c. St. Anthony Firestone requests approval to replace the pedestal sign <br /> which was removed for road construction. Upon motion by Kronk, seconded by <br /> Harty, to recommend to the Council that the request be approved. <br /> otion carried. <br /> 4 me to build a 10' X 20' conservator <br /> d. The request by Norman G. !e Y at the <br /> rear of 3113 Croft Drive was discussed. The board felt no action was needed for <br /> this request. <br /> e. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Englund, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the final Huebner plat be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> f. The secretary was asked to invite the managers of the shopping centers <br /> and Red Owl to attend the November meeting to discuss traffic flow in the center. <br />
