r <br /> VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MEETING <br /> November 18, 1969 <br /> 1. The regular meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 7:35 P.M. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Kronk, Miedtke, Englund, Ondrey. <br /> Absent : Mesenbring, Harty <br /> Also Present: Wayne Leonard, Director of Public Safety <br /> 3. The minutes of the meeting of October 21 , 1969 were approved as submitted. <br /> 4. After discussion, motion by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the <br /> Council that a variance to the Sign Ordinance to permit a sign to be painted <br /> on the rear wall of Foodtown be denied. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Kronk, Miedtke, Englund <br /> Nay: Ondrey <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 5. Public Hearings-None <br /> 6. Zoning Variations-None <br /> 7. Old Business-None <br /> 8. Building Permits <br /> The request by Mr. Keefer at 2408 Central Avenue N.E. to build a 50' <br /> x 70 ' garage to repair and store tanker trucks at approximately 4021 Foss <br /> Road was discussed. <br /> The Board felt that they would not look with favor on this type of <br /> business considering the added truck traffic which would be generated in <br /> the area so no action was taken on the matter. <br /> 9. Miscellaneous <br /> a. The Board discussed with Wayne Leonard, Director of Public Safety, <br /> the traffic on Coolidge Street behind Foodtown. Mr. Leonard stated <br /> that this area has not been a problem for the Police Department. <br /> Motion by Miedtke, seconded by Ondrey, to instruct the secretary to <br /> inform by letter, Mr. Kelly, Mr. Sroga, and other interested parties <br /> that we have investigated the traffic situation on Coolidge Street <br /> and would like to have them attend the next Planning Board meeting to <br /> work out a solution to the problem. It was also suggested that <br /> scaled drawings showing location of property lines, building location <br /> and streets be presented. Mr. Leonard to attend the".,rt;eeting also. <br />
