r VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY PLANNING BOARD MEETING November 18, 1969 1. The regular meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 7:35 P.M. 2. The following were present at roll call : Kronk, Miedtke, Englund, Ondrey. Absent : Mesenbring, Harty Also Present: Wayne Leonard, Director of Public Safety 3. The minutes of the meeting of October 21 , 1969 were approved as submitted. 4. After discussion, motion by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that a variance to the Sign Ordinance to permit a sign to be painted on the rear wall of Foodtown be denied. Voting on the motion: Aye: Kronk, Miedtke, Englund Nay: Ondrey Motion carried. 5. Public Hearings-None 6. Zoning Variations-None 7. Old Business-None 8. Building Permits The request by Mr. Keefer at 2408 Central Avenue N.E. to build a 50' x 70 ' garage to repair and store tanker trucks at approximately 4021 Foss Road was discussed. The Board felt that they would not look with favor on this type of business considering the added truck traffic which would be generated in the area so no action was taken on the matter. 9. Miscellaneous a. The Board discussed with Wayne Leonard, Director of Public Safety, the traffic on Coolidge Street behind Foodtown. Mr. Leonard stated that this area has not been a problem for the Police Department. Motion by Miedtke, seconded by Ondrey, to instruct the secretary to inform by letter, Mr. Kelly, Mr. Sroga, and other interested parties that we have investigated the traffic situation on Coolidge Street and would like to have them attend the next Planning Board meeting to work out a solution to the problem. It was also suggested that scaled drawings showing location of property lines, building location and streets be presented. Mr. Leonard to attend the".,rt;eeting also.
