IIILLAOi OF ST, ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING bOARD MEETING <br /> • March 17, 1970 <br /> 1. The regular meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 7:35 P.M. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Kronk, Bratland, Englund, Carlson. <br /> Absent: Parrill, Ondrey, Mesenbring. <br /> 3. The minutes of February 17, 1970 were approved as submitted. <br /> 4. Ordinance Variations-None <br /> 5. Public Hearings-None <br /> 6. Zoning Variations-None <br /> 7. Old Business-None <br /> 8. Building Permits <br /> a. Motion by Kronk, seconded by Bratland, to recamend Council approve the <br /> request by Mobil Oil Corporation to place a 4 ft. diameter plastic, <br /> internally lighted sign at each station located in St. Anthony Village. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> b. Motion by Kronk, seconded by Bratland, to recommend to the Council that <br /> the proposed 50 ft. x 156 ft. addition to Bauer Welding be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> c. Mr. Harvey Coleman appeared before the Planning Board to modify the <br /> original plans presented in 1969 for 32 townhouses on Outlot A and <br /> apartment buildings on a part of Outlots B and D, Apache Plaza. Mr. <br /> Coleman requested permission to eliminate the townhouses and not to <br /> replace them with any structures whatsoever, therefore reducing the <br /> number of units from 298 units to 266 units all being apartment <br /> buildings. The townhouses to be replaced with burming and planting in <br /> accordance with plans to be submitted. Mr. Coleman also requested that <br /> Ordinance 1969-4 be changed and item 3 be struck which states that <br /> construction of the townhouse units shall be completed prior to any <br /> occupancy of the apartment buildings. Also the reference to townhouses <br /> in item 1 of the restrictions be deleted. <br /> Motion by Kronk, seconded by Bratland, to recommend to the Council that <br /> approval be given to change the ordinance and eliminate the townhouses <br /> and provide screening along the 150 ft. strip of burming and planting <br /> and subject to the protective covenant as presented by the Car-Bor-Nel <br /> Company, Incorporated.
