VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> July 27, 1970 <br /> 1. The meeting was called to order by acting chairman Don Kronk at 7:10 o'clock <br /> P.M. <br /> The meeting of July 21, 1970 was cancelled due to lack of a quorum. <br /> Thomas Ondrey was elected Chairman by the Board and took over the chair. <br /> Charles Herman was welcomed to the Planning Board by the members and was <br /> assured that they were glad to have him as a member. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Mesenbring, Herman, Bratland, <br /> Kronk, Ondrey. <br /> Absent: Carlson, Parrill <br /> 3. The minutes of the June 16, 1970 meeting were approved as submitted. <br /> 4. Public Hearings-None <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations-None <br /> 6. Zoning Variations-None <br /> 7. Old Business-None <br /> 8. Building Permits-None <br /> 9. /Miscellaneous <br /> / a. Wyne Leonard appeared on request of the Planning Board to give an <br /> opinion on the replacement of the corner sign at the Conoco Station <br /> at 37th and Silver Lake Road. He stated that the sign requested would <br /> not interfere with the traffic signal at the intersection. <br /> Motion by Bratland, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the Council <br /> that the request be approved with the following provisions : <br /> 1. All other signs be removed on sign structure. <br /> 2. Temporary signs not approved be removed. <br /> 3. That the oil company be advised that the sign ordinance is now <br /> being reviewed and that this approval is granted with no guarantee <br /> as to what the outcome of that review shall be. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> • Aye: Mesenbring, Bratland, Ondrey <br /> Nay: Kronk, Herman <br /> ,Motion carried. <br /> I <br /> i <br />
