1 <br /> VILLAGE' OF ST, ANTHONY,' <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> September 15, 1970 <br /> 1. The meeting was called to order by acting chairman Kronk at 7:35 o'clock P.M. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Herman, Kronk, Bratland, Carlson, <br /> Parrill. <br /> Absent: Mesenbring <br /> Ondrey joined the meeting 8t 8:00 o'clock and took over the chair. <br /> 3. The minutes of the August 18, 1970 meeting were approved as presented. <br /> 4. Public Hearings-None <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations-None <br /> 6. Zoning Variations-None <br /> 7. Old Business-None <br /> 8. Building// Permits-None <br /> 9. Misckllaneous <br /> a,/Joe Donlin appeared and discussed a Self Service Postal Unit to be locate., <br /> on the Apache parking lot. The unit is to be located on the north side <br /> of the middle entrance off Silver Lake Road and just west of the outer <br /> lane. <br /> Motion by Bratland, seconded by Parrill, to recommend to the Council that <br /> the postal unit for Apache be approved as specified in the plans as <br /> presented. Also a variance for the sign area if it is considered to be <br /> more than one sign. <br /> Mo ion carried. <br /> n o h Council that <br /> b., Motion by Kronk, seconded by Bratland, to recommend t the c <br /> the request by Minnesota Fabrics at Apache to make a change in the <br /> exterior of the building he approved. The north doorway facing east to <br /> be removed and also the three panes of glass to the right and one pane to <br /> the left of the doorway to be removed and this area to be bricked in as e <br /> solid wall. <br /> \Motion carried. <br /> c. The sign ordinance was discussed at length by the Planning Board and a <br /> plan of action has been implemented and the Board will make a report at <br /> t October meetinge <br /> d�Motion by Bratland, seconded by Carlson, to recommend to the Council that <br /> the request by Johnson Greenhouse to blacktop an area 22 ft. x 140 ft, <br /> be approved. This area to be east of the recent driveway that was put in <br /> off 33rd Avenue and starting at a point 85 ft, north of 33rd. Avenue and <br /> going north 140 ft. <br />
