. VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> October 20, 1970 <br /> 1. The meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 7:40 o'clock P.M. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Herman, Kronk, Ondrey, Carlson, <br /> Bratland. <br /> Absent: Mesenbring, Parrill <br /> 3. The minutes of the September 15, 1970 meeting were approved as presented. <br /> 4. Public Hearings-None <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations <br /> a./Motion by Bratland, seconded by Kronk, to recommend to the Council that the <br /> request by Andrew Gawel for three variances to build a house at 2601 31st <br /> Avenue N.E. be approved as follows : <br /> 1 . 24 ft. variance in width of corner lot <br /> 2. 4 ft. front yard setback variance <br /> 3. 13 ft. rear yard variance <br /> Mgtion carried. <br /> b. Motion by Herman, seconded by Kronk, to recommend that the Council approve <br /> the request by Don Zebro at 4017 Penrod Lane N.E. for a 20 ft. addition <br /> to the rear of his present 2 car attached garage with a false window in <br /> the north wall. <br /> \Motion carried. <br /> 6. Zoning Variations <br /> Motion by Kronk, seconded by Bratland, to recommend to the Council that the <br /> request by John Wakiriak to rezone the blest 1/2 of Lot 10, and all of Lot 9, <br /> Block 6, Mounds View Acres, 2nd Addition from R1 and R2 to Commercial be <br /> denied. The location of the above is the Northeast corner of 39th Avenue and <br /> Silver Lake Road. Lot 9 is the corner lot and this eAtends to Penrod Lane. <br /> Two drive-in restaurants are proposed for this area. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Old Rusiness-None <br /> 8. Building Permits-None <br /> • 9. Miscellaneous <br /> a. Motion by Carlson, seconded by Herman, to recommend to the Council that <br /> the request by Happys Potato Chips, Inc. to replat Lot 1 , Block 9, Mounds <br /> View Acres, 2nd Addition, vacated Valley View Drive adjacent and Outlot A <br /> Happy's Industrial into Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Happy's Industrial 3. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
