VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> MAY 18, 1971 <br /> I . The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ondrey at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> 2. The following were present at roll call : Herman, Letourneau, Carlson, Ondrey. <br /> Absent : Kronk, Bratland, Parrill <br /> 3. The minutes of the April 20, 1971 meeting were approved as presented. <br /> 4. Public Hearings-None <br /> 5. Ordinance Variations <br /> a./a. /The request by State Bank of St. Anthony for a display window type sign <br /> The <br /> be located on the east wall of the building was discussed. Motion <br /> by Carlson, seconded by Letourneau, to table action until the revised sign <br /> ordinance is in effect. <br /> \otion carried. <br /> b. Motion by Herman, seconded by Letourneau to recommend to the Council that <br /> the request by Orville Hauge for a 2 ft x 2 ft identification sign at <br /> his home at 3300 Roosevelt Court be denied as this would be in violation <br /> of the sign ordinance. <br /> SMotion carried. <br /> 6. Zoning Variations <br /> a.� Smith appeared representing Main Realty, Inc. requesting rezoning of <br /> the property at 3901 Silver Lake Road from R-2 to Commercial. Motion by <br /> Carlson, seconded by Letourneau, to recommend to the Council that a public <br /> hearing be held by the Planning Board or the Council . It was also suggest- <br /> ed that if a hearing is held that the property to the north at 3909 Silver <br /> Lake Road be included if the owner so desires. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Carlson, Ondrey, Letourneau <br /> Nay: Herman <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7. Old Bus�i,ness-None <br /> 8. Building Permits <br /> a. 7 Mr. Johnson presented a proposed addition to the rear of W.W. Johnson <br /> Meat Company at 2801 Kenzie Terrace. After discussion and viewing the <br /> area a motion was made by Herman, seconded by Carlson, to recommend to the <br /> Council that the addition of 7 ft. to the north and 16 ft. to the east <br /> of the building be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
