VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> OCTOBER 19, 1971 <br /> THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY CHAIRMAN ONOREY AT 7S30P.M. <br /> THE FOLLOWING WERE PRESENT AT ROLL CALLS PARRILL, KRONK, ONDREY, BRATLAND, <br /> LETOURNEAU <br /> ABSENTS CARLSON, HERMAN <br /> THE MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 21, AND OCTOBER 11, 1971 MEETINGS WERE APPROVED AS <br /> sUBMITTEO. <br /> /GORDON HEDLUND APPEARED AND PRESENTED PLANS FOR LOTS 10 THROUGH 16, BLOCK 6, <br /> MOUNDS VIEW ACRES SECOND ADDITION. ONE PLAN HAD DOUBLE BUNGALOWS ON THE SILVER <br /> LAKE SIDE AND SINGLE FAMILY ON PENROD. THE OTHER PLAN WAS THE ONE PRESENTED AT <br /> THE SEPTEMBER 21, 1971 , MEETING WITH COMMERCIAL FRONTING ON SILVER LAKE ROAD AND <br /> RESIDENTIAL FACING PENROD LANE. <br /> MR. HEDLUND STATED THAT ONE OF TWO PLANS WOULD BE USED AND REQUESTED THAT A PUBLIC <br /> HEARING BE HELD AND LET ThE PEOPLE IN THE AREA DECIDE WHICH PLAN THEY WOULD LIKE <br /> TO SEE USED FOR THE AREA. THE PLANS WERE VIEWED BY THE RESIDENTS ALONG PENROD LANE <br /> NORTH OF 39TH AVENUE N.E. AND HEDLUND SAID THAT THEY WERE IN FAVOR OF THE PLAN <br /> WITH COMMERCIAL ALONG SILVER LAKE ROAD AND RESIDENTIAL FACING PENROD. <br /> MOTION BY PARRILL, SECONDED BY KRONKj TO RECOMMEND TO THE COUNCIL THAT A PUBLIC <br /> HEARING BE HELD FOR THE PURPOSE OF REZONING ALLOWING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO BE <br /> GRANTED TO ALLOW COMMERCIAL ON SILVER LAKE ROAD. <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> NO ACTION WAS TAKEN ON THE REQUEST FOR SIGNS BY NATIONAL FOOD STORE AT APACHE <br /> BECAUSE THE OUTSIDE SIGN HAS BEEN DELETED. <br /> MOTION BY BRATLAND, SECONDED BY KRONK, TO RECOMMEND TO THE COUNCIL THAT THE SIGN <br /> REQUEST FOR A NEW TENANT IN THE TOM THUMB STORE BE APPROVED IF IT MEETS ALL <br /> REQUIREMENTS OF THE SIGN ORDINANCE. <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> THE BANK SIGN WAS TABLED. <br /> MOTION BY BRATLAND, SECONDED BY LETOURNEAU r TO RECOMMEND THAT THE 2 S" STAMP SIGNS <br /> REQUESTED FOR LARRY'S STANDARD STATION AT 3700 SILVER LAKE ROAD BE DENIED. <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> MOTION BY KRONK, SECONDED BY BRATLAND TO ADJOURN. <br /> MOTION CARRIED. <br /> HARRY LEKSON 2 <br /> SECRETARY <br />
