-2- <br /> /Mr. Michael Schiena appeared before the Board to sound them out on his plans <br /> to build a second floor for office space on the bowling alley in the St. Anthony <br /> Shopping Center. After a brief discussicn of the details of the proposed <br /> addition; Mr. Schiena was advised to bring the final plans to the Board meetings <br /> in June or July. <br /> \`No ction was taken. <br /> /Plans for a new sign for the Conoco Station at 37th Avenue and Silver Lake Road <br /> were discussed. The new sign will include the current price of gasoline being <br /> sold at the station. <br /> Motion by Mr. OnOrey, se^onded by Mr. Johnson to recommend approval by the <br /> Village Council of a sign variance of approximately six feet in exchange for <br /> the removal by Conoco of the pylon sign and all other signs now at the station. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: McGinn, Ondrey, Johnson <br /> Nay: Kronk <br /> Motion carried, <br /> \,/ <br /> 'The proposal of the North-Gro, Inc. for a wholesale, packing, processing and <br /> retail apple operation in the Village was discussed. Because of the lack of <br /> firm details on the operation, the Board recommended that Mr. Lekson advise <br /> North-Gro that the Board's reaction to the proposal was not favorable. <br /> Motion by Mr. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Kronk to adjourn at 9:15 P.M. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Helen Crowe, Secy. <br />
