VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> ' PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> April 17, 1973 <br /> Meeting was called to order by Chairman Parrill. <br /> The following were present at roll call: McGinn, Kronk, Parrill, Ondrey, <br /> Carlson and Johnson <br /> Also present: Harry Lekson <br /> Minutes of the- March 20th meeting were approved by a motion by Mr. Kronk and <br /> seconded by Mr. Ondrey. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> /Mr. Ken Letourneau of Buetow & Associates requested that a sign 82 feet high <br /> for better visibility be allowed for the St. Anthony Office Park. <br /> Motion by Kronk and seconded by Mr. Ondrey that the recommendation be made to <br /> the Council for the approval of the sign on the location discussed in the past. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Bob Dircks of Berger Transfer presented plans for an addition to their <br /> ' warehouse which would be a continuance of the "L" on the building. <br /> Motion by Mrs. McGinn, seconded by Mr. Kronk that the recommendation of approval <br /> of the addition be made to the Council as requested. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Richard Chappell asked for a tentative approval of plans for a Goodyear <br /> Service Store to be built north of Burger Chef on Silver Lake Road. <br /> Motion by Mr. Ondrey seconded by Mr. Carlson recommending approval of the <br /> building permit by the Council if the following conditions are met: <br /> 1. No pylon sign. <br /> 2. Low level lighting for security with the light directed towards the <br /> building to avoid annoyance to neighboring housing. <br /> 3. Landscaping to include 8 or 10 foot trees on side of building facing <br /> the housing. <br /> 4. Curb cuts are approved by Ramsey County. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 7Mr. Chappell was urged to attend the Council meeting next week. <br /> . Letourneau arrived at 8:30 P.M. <br /> Mr. David Phillips of Skyline Builders discussed the Midland Nurseries landscape <br /> plans for the apartment buildings Skyline is erecting. These included the <br /> use of mature trees as well as berms. After assurance that if the number of <br /> children in the apartments warrant it, a Tot Lot and other recreation areas <br /> I <br /> L ' <br />
