- March 10'h,2005
Application for Special Use Permit for the city of St. Anthony Village
Thank you for taking the time to review my request to do business in the city of St.
Anthony Village. I have been a homeowner and resident of this town since 1992.
My work background has been in the retail automotive industry, working for large
Franchises within the metropolitan area of the Twin Cities, with an emphasis on
Finance.
My overall plan for the property at 3605 29`h Ave N.E., would be to operate a small
Dealership which would sell 15 to 25 vehicles per month. The physical building itself
Would not be changed, but I would make improvements to the exterior of the property
That would include additional lighting, awnings across the front and west sides, signage
On the south and west sides, and sandblasting and painting the entire building.
The interior would be altered only minimally to divide off a prep area in the back, with a
Garage type door which would give me the opportunity to pull vehicles on to the show
Floor. Additionally, there would be a partition in the front to create a business and _
Finance office.
I would keep vehicles parked outside, along the west wall, but only vehicles that have
been reconditioned and are ready to sell. No junked or wrecked vehicles will be kept on
the premises. In the event the dealership would take an unsightly trade-in,that vehicle
will be parked inside the prep area until it is taken to auction or reconditioned for sale.
The majority of inventory will be kept inside and only brought out during business hours
For display purposes only.
Hours of operation would be from 9am thru 7pm Monday thru Thursday, and loam
Thru 4pm Friday and Saturday. Initially there would only be one employee, and the entire
Business could be run with just one employee.
Thanks again for your consideration,I am looking forword to working with the the
community, the St. Anthony Village Chamber of Commerce and its residents.
Patrick O'Connor
