INFORMATION AND DISCUSSION <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Vice Chair Hanson referenced the September 20, 2005 Concept Review for the redevelopment of <br /> 20 the Kenzie Terrace/Lowry Avenue commercial property noting that the minutes indicate that the <br /> 21 applicant was planning to return to present in October or November and asked if Staff has heard <br /> 22 anything from the applicant. <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Ms. Moore-Sykes confirmed stating that she has not heard anything from the applicant. She <br /> 25 stated that today is the deadline for next month's agenda adding that she has not received <br /> 26 anything for next month either. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 Chair Stromgren stated that if the applicant has met with Hennepin County to discuss the right- <br /> 29 of-way for Kenzie Terrace would the City be notified or involved in any way. <br /> 30 <br /> 31 Ms. Moore-Sykes stated that the City would not be notified or involved in the process. She <br /> 32 stated that normally the developer would notify the City. She stated that she could try to get a <br /> 33 copy of the minutes from that meeting for their review. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 10.1 Comprehensive Land Use Plan Update. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Ms. Moore-Sykes stated the City is scheduled to update the Comprehensive Land Use Plan by <br /> 38 December 31, 2008. She explained that it is a statutory requirement by the State of Minnesota <br /> 39 noting that the last time it was updated was in 1998. She stated that the last update was a huge <br /> 40 project noting that a Task Force was created that included stakeholders from the community, the <br /> 41 Planning Commission and City Council representatives. She stated that the City invited <br /> 42 considerable input from individuals who had an interest and stake in the City's land-use plan <br /> 43 noting that they also hired facilitators and planners as consultants to get the plan moving forward. <br /> 44 She stated that Staff does not believe that the update process would be as extensive this time <br /> 45 noting that this was a means to update the Planning Commission and the Community that this is <br />
