Section 1655—PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br /> 1655.01 P2Mose. The purpose of this Section 1655 is to provide for planed <br /> unit developments PUDs within the City. PUD districts are <br /> intended to permit flexibility of site design the conservation of <br /> land and open space through innovative design and <br /> placement of buildings and activities and an incentive to I <br /> developers to plan creatively. This flexibility can be achieved by <br /> allowing deviations from standards including setbacks heights and <br /> similar regulations while still adhering to a the standards and <br /> purposes of the Comprehensive and Use PlanPUDs are <br /> characterized_ by central management integrated planning and <br /> architecture joint or common use of parking thoughtfully designed <br /> omen space and other facilities and a harmonious selection of and <br /> efficient distribution of uses <br /> 1655.02 Definitions. <br /> Subd. 1. PUD. A PUD is a zoning district and development plan, <br /> which may include single or mixed uses, and one (1) or more lots or <br /> parcels, and which is intended to create a more flexible, creative <br /> and efficient approach to the use of land.
