Signs within the Public Rip-lit-of-way or Public Easement. <br /> Subd. 5. Whirling Devices. <br /> Subd. 6. Signs on Glass Doors. Signs on glass doors which have a total sign surface area <br /> exceeding 20% of the glass area of the door. . <br /> Subd. 7. Signs Near Lots. Signs other than wall signs which have any surface area or <br /> structural member closer than ten (10) feet to a side lot line. <br /> Subd. 8. Signs Near Property Lines. Signs which project beyond the property line of the <br /> property upon which the sign is located. <br /> Subd. 9. Signs Near Roofs. Signs projecting more thanfive (5) feet above the roof line of <br /> the structure to which it is affixed. <br /> Subd. 10. Advertising Signs. Signs intended to be for the purpose of advertising in R-1, <br /> R-IA, R-2, R-3 and R4 districts, including those intended for viewing only from the <br /> interior of a building but which can reasonably be viewed from the exterior of the <br /> building. <br /> Subd. 11. Signs on Walls. Wall signs having a sign surface area exceeding fifteen (I5) <br /> percent of the area of the wall surface to which it is affixed. <br /> Subd. 12. Projecting Signs. Signs constructed so that the message or communication is <br /> not flat against the sign structure. <br /> Subd. 13. Signs Affixed to Utility Poles and Fences. Signs painted, attached or in any <br /> other manner affixed to trees, rocks, or similar natural surfaces, or attached to utility <br /> poles, bridges, towers,fences or similar public structures. <br /> Subd. 14. Emitting Signs. Signs which emit sound, odor or visible matter. <br /> Subd. 15. Animated Signs. <br /> Subd. 16. Flashing Signs. Flashing signs except any portion giving time, temperature or <br /> weather. <br /> Subd. 17. Signs Attached to a Vehicle. Vehicles with incorporated or attached signage <br /> parked primarily for use as a sign shall not be parked in any zone for more than seventy- <br /> two (72) hours. <br /> Subd. 18. Billboards. <br /> Subd. 19. Signs on Bus Shelters.
