<br /> <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting Date: May 10, 2016 <br /> <br /> <br />Ordinance- An ordinance amending Chapter 112 to Change Hours of Sale on Sundays for <br />Establishments Holding and On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License <br /> <br /> <br />OVERVIEW: <br /> <br />In front of you this evening is an ordinance amending Chapter 112 to change hours of sale on Sundays <br />for establishments holding an on-sale intoxicating liquor license. Currently the City of St. Anthony <br />allows for intoxicating liquor or wine to be sold in conjunction with food on Sundays beginning at <br />10:00 a.m. The ordinance amendment would change the beginning time on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. <br />to 8:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Minnesota State Statute 340A.504(3) allows for holders of on-sale intoxicating liquor licenses to sell <br />liquor in conjunction with food beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Sundays. <br /> <br />This is the 2nd of 3 readings. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />91
