ANTHONY 1 <br />CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2 <br />MAY 24, 2016 3 <br /> 4 <br />CALL TO ORDER. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Mayor Faust called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. 7 <br /> 8 <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Faust invited the Council and audience to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Present: Mayor Faust Councilmembers Brever, Gray, Jenson and Stille 13 <br />Absent: None 14 <br />Also Present: City Manager Mark Casey and City Engineer Todd Hubmer, 15 <br />Guests: Marilyn Jenson, and Amir Nadav, Solar Consultant 16 <br /> 17 <br />CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON ALL OF THE FOLLOWING 18 <br />ITEMS. 19 <br /> 20 <br />I. APPROVAL OF THE MAY 24, 2016, CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Motion by Councilmember Gray, seconded by Councilmember Brever, to approve the City 23 <br />Council Meeting Agenda of May 24, 2016. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Motion carried 5-0. 26 <br /> 27 <br />II. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. 28 <br /> 29 <br />A. Presentation of Salo Park Concert Series 30 <br /> 31 <br />Ms. Marilyn Jenson appeared before Council to present the 2016 Salo Park Summer Concert 32 <br />Series. Ms. Jenson reviewed the background of Salo Park and the Concert Series. The concerts 33 <br />are held at Silver Lake Village and are held on Thursday evenings 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. from June 23 34 <br />– August 11. The amphitheater is located on 39th Avenue NE between Silver Lake Road and 35 <br />Stinson Boulevard. The schedule is as follows: 36 <br /> 37 <br />June 23 – Ecuador Manta 38 <br />June 30 – St. Anthony Civic Orchestra 39 <br />July 7 – Jazz on the Prairie Big Band 40 <br />July 14 – Shoreview Northern Lights Variety Band 41 <br />July 21 – Calhoun Isles Community Band 42 <br />July 28 – 2 Cats Swing 43 <br />Aug 4 – Dennis Warner in Concert 44 <br />Aug 11 – Everett Smithson Band 45 <br /> 46 <br />In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held at the St. Anthony Community Center, 3301 47 <br />Silver Lake Road. 48 <br /> 49 <br />1
