Is <br />CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID <br />The City of St. Anthony requests sealed bids on a General Contract, including mechanical, <br />electrical and fire protection work, for a new liquor store for the City of St. Anthony, of <br />approximately 8,500 square feet. The Project consists of a 4,800 square foot addition to an <br />existing one -story masonry, composite wall building and remodeling of approximately 3,700 <br />square feet of an existing tenant's building. Maintaining access during business hours to <br />existing tenant is an essential component of this Project. <br />Bids shall be on a stipulated lump sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. <br />The City of St. Anthony will receive Bids until 2:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, June 3, 1997, <br />at the office of the City Clerk, City of St. Anthony, 3301 Silver Lake Road, St. <br />Anthony, Minnesota 55418 -1699. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. <br />Bids will be opened publicly. <br />Bids shall be addressed to the attention of: Connie Kroeplin <br />City Clerk <br />Drawings and Project Manual will be available on or about May 15, 1997 and may be <br />examined at the following locations: <br />Minneapolis and St. Paul Builders Exchanges <br />F.W. Dodge Plan Room, Minneapolis <br />Construction Bulletin Plan Room, Brooklyn Park <br />National Association of Minority Contractors, Minneapolis <br />Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Architects office in accordance <br />with the Instructions to Bidders upon deposit of $100.00 for each set of documents. If <br />Bidding Documents are to be mailed, a separate, non - refundable check in the amount of <br />$15.00, issued to KKE Architects, must accompany your request. Deposits will be returned <br />to those bidders who return complete documents in usable condition (as determined by the <br />Architect) within 10 days of the opening of Bids. <br />Bid security in the form of a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany <br />each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. <br />The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids without explanation and to waive <br />irregularities. <br />Publish: St. Anthony Bulletin <br />May 7, 1997 <br />
