Finance <br />Financial Services: The Finance Department is responsible <br />for providing general financial services and accounting records of all <br />City financial transactions. The areas of service include: <br />➢ General ledger accounting and A/P processing. <br />➢ Liquor recordkeeping and Profit/Loss reporting. <br />➢ The issuance of business licenses. <br />➢ Rental licensing and tracking. <br />➢ Building permits and coordination of inspections. <br />➢ Payroll and renewal of employee benefits. <br />➢ Water and sewer charges and billings. <br />➢ Preparation of the City's annual budget. <br />➢ The renewal of City insurance policies. <br />➢ Investment of City funds. <br />➢ Compliance with Auditing Standards. <br />Risk Management: The purpose of Risk Management is to <br />ensure that a reasonable level of insurance coverage is maintained <br />for general liability, property & casualty, workers compensation and <br />liquor liability. <br />
