ST. ANTHONY EMERGENCY OPERATIONS
<br />ROUTINE EMERGENCIES — minimal St. Anthony resources needed
<br />- FIRE DEPT.- small fires, medicals, PI's, some hazmat spills or leaks,
<br />minor weather incidents, etc.
<br />- POLICE DEPT- multi vehicle personal injury accident, serious assaults,
<br />crowd control, fleeing police in motor vehicle, assault on police,
<br />bomb threat, large drinking party, reckless discharge of firearm,
<br />Federal condition red terror alert, etc.
<br />PUBLIC WORKS- snow plowing, ice control, minor storms, limited
<br />hazmat spills, sanitary sewer backup, minor street flooding, etc.
<br />LARGE EMERGENCY EVENT- significant St. Anthony resources needed (mutual aid)
<br />FIRE DEPT.- fully involved structure fire, wide spread minor weather damage,
<br />large natural gas leak, some hazmat spills and leaks, small biological and /or
<br />terror threats, mass casualty, activation of dispensing site, etc.
<br />POLICE DEPT.- active shooter, armed suspect on loose, barricaded
<br />suspect, hostage situation, officer involved in shooting, large unlawful
<br />assembly,, officer down, missing child, murder, large weather event,
<br />large mass casualty, etc.
<br />PUBLIC WORKS- large wind or ice storm, security breach at water plant, extended
<br />power outage at sanitary sewer lift stations, large hazmat spill /leak (chlorine),
<br />terror threats, 18" snowfall in 4 hours, 3 or more water main breaks in 24 hours
<br />MAJOR EMERGENCY EVENT- significant St. Anthony and outside resources needed
<br />- FIRE DEPT.- large weather event, very dangerous hazmat spills and leaks, some
<br />biological and terror threats, large mass casualty, wide spread fire, etc.
<br />POLICE DEPT.- abducted child, WMD terrorist event, riot, kidnapping, large
<br />weather event, large hazmat spill /leak, activation of mass dispensing site,
<br />very large mass casualty event, etc.
<br />PUBLIC WORKS- tornado of 84, massive hazmat spill /leak, workplace violence,
<br />employee strike, contamination of water supply, trunk sanitary sewer collapse,
<br />3 day blizzard, etc.
