He noted that the City had relied on the best <br />2 judgement of the City Manager who was forced to make decisions under extreme time <br />3 pressures. <br />4 Mayor Ranallo stated he would vote against approval of this claim. He felt the <br />5 amount paid for these furnishings was not conducive to good money management. <br />6 Vote on the motion: Enrooth, Faust, Marks, Wagner voted aye. Ranallo voted naye. <br />7 Motion carried. <br />8 Motion by Marks, second by Faust to approve the following claim: <br />9 D. Hennepin County in the amount of $1,014.10 for 1997 property tax, Lundeen <br />10 property. <br />1 1 Wagner noted only %z of the amount of this invoice was due on May 15, 1997. The <br />12 other %x was due on October 15, 1997. <br />13 Marks amended his motion to approve payment of the $507.05 due on May 15, 1997 <br />and approve the $507.05 due on October 15, 1997, to be paid at that date. Faust <br />5 agreed to the amendment. <br />16 Motion carried unanimously. <br />17 VI. OTHER BUSINESS. <br />18 A. KKE Architects. Inc., re: Proposed Additional Services/Costs Relating to New <br />19 SAV 2 Liquor Store (Amendment I of the Current Contract). <br />20 Morrison noted this was a motion to approve payment of an additional $1,800 <br />21 to KKE Architects to design the facade of the Tires Plus Building. This would <br />22 be bid alternate A. <br />23 Motion by Marks, second by Faust to authorize proposed additional <br />24 services/costs relating to the new SAV 2 Liquor Store at the discretion of the <br />25 City Manager. <br />26 Motion carried unanimously. <br />27 VII.
