ANTHONY <br />HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />MEETING OF OCTOBER 10, 1989 <br />Mayor Sundland called the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Meeting to order <br />at 10:10 p.m.. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Marks, Ranallo, Enrooth, Makowske, Sundland - present <br />APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 26, 1989 HRA MINUTES <br />Motion by Ranallo, second by Marks to approve the September 26, 1989 minutes <br />of the HRA as submitted. <br />Motion carried unanimously <br />CLAIMS <br />A. Dorsey E Whitney <br />Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to approve payment of $654.50 to <br />Dorsey b Whitney for legal services rendered from August 1, 1989 <br />through August 31, 1989 to the HRA. <br />Motion carried unanimously <br />B. Munn Blacktop, Inc. <br />Motion by Makowske, second by Enrooth to approve payment of $10,000 <br />to Munn Blacktop, Inc. <br />Motion carried unanimously <br />AUTUMN WOODS PROJECT - RESIDENT COMMENTS <br />Dennis Cavanaugh, a St. Anthony resident, stated he had been observing the <br />Autumn Woods project as it is being constructed. He stated that there are <br />some parts of the project that appear to be poorly and carelessly constructed <br />and he noted that inferior quality materials are in evidence. <br />Cavanaugh questioned if this project, during the construction process, had <br />been inspected as he found any accountability to standards being met very <br />elusive. He noted this development is located in the same area as two other <br />developments which are quality built and virtually maintenance free. <br />Councilmember Makowske advised she had visited two other projects built by <br />the developer of Autumn Woods and they appeared to be well managed. <br />Cavanaugh again stated his concerns regarding construction quality and long <br />term maintenance. He was advised to contact the City's Public Works Director <br />regarding an on-site viewing of the development. Members of the Council noted <br />they will follow up on his concerns also. <br />
