ANTHONY <br />HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY MINUTES <br />June 10, 1986 <br />The meeting was called to order at 8:35 P.M. by Chairman Sundland. <br />Present for roll call: Sundland, Vice Chair Enrooth, Secretary/Treasurer Marks, <br />and Commissioners Makowske and Ranallo. <br />Also present: David Childs, Executive Director; and William Soth, City Attorney. <br />Motion by Commissioner Ranal <br />the minutes as submitted for <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Motion by Secretary/Treasure <br />payment of $275.15 to Dorsey <br />to plat approval and sale of <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />to and seconded by Secretary/Treasurer Marks to approve <br />the H.R.A. meetings held April 22 and 29, 1986. <br />Marks and seconded by Commissioner Ranallo to approve <br />& Whitney for legal services during March, 1986 related <br />remaining land for Old Highway 8 Redevelopment Project. <br />Motion by Commissioner.Makowske and seconded by Vice Chair Enrooth to approve payment <br />of $2,011.60 to Dorsey & Whitney during April related to the Kenzie Terrace and Old <br />• Highway 8 Redevelopment Projects. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />The mortgage documents for the Village Townhomes had been submitted to the H.R.A. <br />Attorney for review and Mr. Soth indicated he recommended they be approved, perceiv- <br />ing they were in acceptable form and provided all necessary protections for the <br />Housing and Redevelopment Authority. The Attorney summarized the history of the <br />project, stating some of the information contained in the Executive Director's <br />June 10th memorandum which was enclosed in the agenda packet. <br />Mr. Soth said the developers, Brighton Development Corporation, had complied with the <br />Development Agreement closing date for Phase I but had failed to meet the agreement <br />requirement that the land for Phase II be purchased by September 30, 1986 or for <br />Phase III by April 30, 1986, and, as a matter of fact, were just now indicating they <br />would be purchasing all the remaining land in the site, June 18th. <br />The Attorney said it would be proper for those H.R.A. members who would be attending <br />the LMC conference in Duluth, June 18th, to sign the deed of conveyance for that <br />evening for execution the 18th. <br />Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded by Vice Chair Enrooth to approve <br />the mortgage documents for the Village Townhomes as recommended by the H.R.A. <br />attorney. <br />• Motion carried unanimously. <br />
