-3-
Motion by Secretary/Treasurer Marks and seconded
Brighton Development Corporation $163,390 for the
III of the Old Highway 8 Redevelopment Project if
Motion carried unanimously.
by.Vice Chair Enrooth to charge
remaining'land in Phases II and
the closing is June 18, 1986.
Ms. Donaldson indicated her firm had "40% hard purchase agreements" for the project
and what she considered to be "a good mix of people" in that number. She said she
was very confident the project would move ahead rapidly now although she had to
admit the slowdown of the Kenzington project had created some public relations
problems for the townhome project. The developer said, however, she perceived
the upbeat comments in the City Newsletter had done a great deal to dispel some of
the doubts. Ms. Donaldson promised Vice Chair Enrooth to keep the H.R.A.
specifically informed about the project's progress.
Motion by Commissioner Ranallo and seconded by Commissioner Enrooth to adjourn the
H.R.A. meeting at 9;10 P.M.
Motion carried unanimously.
•
•
Respectfully submitted,
Helen Crowe, Secretary
